After removing the decay from your tooth, Dr. Grkikian uses a special camera to take an extremely accurate picture of that tooth. This optical impression is transferred and displayed on a color computer screen, where Dr. G. will use CAD technology to design your CEREC crown in just one visit. Then, CAM takes over and automatically creates the restoration while you wait. Finally, Dr. G. bonds the new restoration to the surface of the prepared tooth. The whole process takes approximately one hour.
